CARSTAR Collision Specialists of Brownsville Opens in Brownsville, TX

CARSTAR, North America’s largest multi-store network of independently owned collision repair facilities, announced the opening of CARSTAR Collision Specialists of Brownsville, located at 2124 N. Central Avenue, Brownsville, TX 78521.

 

Owner of CARSTAR Collision Specialists of Brownsville, Joe Cantu, has been in the collision repair business for over 35 years. Cantu started working on cars throughout high school and in his free time, helping his uncle at his facility.

 

“I originally wanted to go to medical school, but I always had a passion for cars, and nothing seemed to beat the satisfaction of repairing a vehicle and bringing it back to its original condition,” says Joe Cantu, owner, CARSTAR Collision Specialists of Brownsville. “Now, I am a doctor, but a doctor of vehicles. We have been able to build an outstanding team here and joining CARSTAR helps us amplify our repair capabilities but allows me to continue to own and run my business here in Brownsville.”

 

CARSTAR Collision Specialists of Brownsville is a 6,800 square foot facility and is an I-CAR Gold repair center. An I-CAR Gold Class certification is the highest industry recognition for repair standards and training. CARSTAR Collision Specialists of Brownsville is also certified for aluminum repairs, which oftentimes is needed for trucks.
